Whimsy
Now and again I try something completely different, acting on a whim and fancy. It helps me to re-energize and gain new perspective in my painting.

Over the years I have challenged myself with new ideas, techniques, or approaches, if only to flex my creative muscles. Occasionally, I have been inspired by request - to create a painting to complement a poem or reflect an exhibition theme - and have enjoyed painting outside of my comfort zone to meet these challenges.
